As an adviser, Leo helps clients align their financial goals and desires with their unique values, timelines, and risk tolerances. He establishes comprehensive relationships, helping clients understand both the tax and estate implications as they work together to create and manage an investment plan. Leo especially enjoys working with entrepreneurs, small-business owners, and their families. He specializes in helping them create a cohesive plan that considers both their personal and business goals.
Prior to joining the financial industry in 2008, Leo flew Apache attack helicopters in the U.S. Army for seven years, where he earned the Bronze Star Medal and the Air Medal for his service. He remains involved with the veteran community and has been a president of Milwaukee’s Veteran Board of Directors (VBOD), the Wisconsin Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), and the local MOAA. He is also an Eagle Scout, and as a past president of the local council, continues to participate in many of the organization’s events throughout the year.
Leo lives in Hartland, Wisconsin with his beautiful wife, Melissa, their son Leo II (aka “L2”), and their two dogs, Neka (a yellow Labrador) and Clover (an Australian Labradoodle). In his free time, Leo enjoys spending time with his family, whether he’s hunting with his dad and friends, attending one of Melissa’s horse shows (she travels year-round competing nationally), or cheering on L2 at one of his hockey games. Leo also maintains a strong bond with his Army buddies and makes it a point to spend time with them and their families throughout the year. His faith in God and Jesus remind him to appreciate his many blessings every day.
